New Course: Regenerative Medicine & Advanced Therapies (ATMPs)

Are you a master’s student within the natural sciences at a higher education insitution? Are you ready to shape the future of medicine?
Join Lund University's newest course in regenerative medicine to learn about cell, gene, and tissue-based therapies and how to take these innovative treatments from research to clinical practice.
This theoretical and practical course is designed for those who wish to work in academia, industry or the public sector and provides a solid foundation in the growing field of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).
Course Content
You will learn:
- Comprehensive coverage of the processes involved in developing drugs based on cells, genes, and tissues (ATMPs), spanning from preclinical discovery to the final product.
- In-depth exploration of the scientific, medical, regulatory, ethical, and societal challenges associated with developing ATMPs, including strategic and regulatory challenges in the field.
- Inclusion of essential methods and terminology crucial for addressing regulatory and strategic challenges in the development and implementation of ATMPs.
Course Details
7.5 credits, 2nd cycle course
Course Dates: 20 February - 21 March, 2025
To register you must either:
- Be enrolled in the Biomedical Analyst program (180 credits),
- OR possess a bachelor's degree in biomedical laboratory science, medical technology, or biomedicine.
