Facilitating Sustainable Lab Practices

By developing and implementing sustainable practices in our labs, we can lead the way for future scientists to adopt a more environmentally friendly approach.

In this effort, the Sustainability Committee at Lund Stem Cell Center is assisting our members in participating in the global initiative, My Green Labs, and implementing ‘green’ changes to our labs, core facilities and infrastructure.

My Green Lab is a non-profit focused on fostering a global culture of sustainability in science within the scientific community. They do this by helping people rethink the traditional practices to reduce environmental impact of laboratories and encourage everyone to make more sustainable choices in their daily lives. They also gather and share data on sustainable best practices to support their recommendations and drive change in labs.

To discover more about the practical, financial, and innovative advantages of the My Green Lab initiative and find out how to convert your lab into a Green Lab, please reach out to the My Green Lab Ambassadors at Lund Stem Cell Center:
